Further Update: Milestone House

Good afternoon,

This morning at 9:30am local officers visited Milestone House again after we received a direct message on Met Engage. At this time there were no drug users on the premises. If anyone has any information regarding times they commonly come and go, please contact us.

During today's visit we were initially able to enter the building without issue by simply opening the first door and using the door release button to unlock the second door. However, we did find that the first door does lock correctly if the door is pulled shut instead of being left to close naturally. After this, we were only able to re-enter the building by calling a resident using the intercom. We would like to encourage all residents to check the door is fully closed when leaving the building while we work on resolving these issues.
